Macallan Lalique III.. The 57 year old Whiskey

The Macallan Lalique III is a 57 year old Highland single malt whiskey which is limited to only 420 bottles. The previous installments of the series were the 50 and 55 year old vintages. Each Lalique decanter is handmade that involves the work of twenty-five craftsmen and hours of work. The decanter of The Macallan Lalique III is inspired from paquerettes tiara perfume bottles, the stoppers are told to be unique as each has a distiguishable off amber shade reflecting the liquor’s color. There’s a bottle of The Macallan which currently holds the record for the most expensive liquor ever sold. A 1926 vintage Macallan was sold at an auction for $54,000.
