Grand Canyon Skywalk

Grand Canyon Skywalk: Peach Springs Hualapai Tribe and David Jin Grand Canyon Skywalk development program to sit down and try to hash the dispute to arbitration hearings on Monday and Tuesday. A court ordered the tribe of hearings last month. The disagreement is about the Skywalk, a $ 30 million; glass Bottom Bridge over the rim and 4000 feet above the floor of the Grand Canyon and downtown. Each side claims the other is not carrying out its part of the initial contract. The tribe says that Jin did not complete the Skywalk shelter. They say the unfinished building is to have a negative impact on visitor traffic to the site. Threaten to take over the project of expropriation. Jin says that the tribe did not pay him his fair share of revenue from the Skywalk, and prevented him from clearing the visitor center by issuing orders to suspend the work and not to run utilities on the side, as promised. He argues that the tribe is trying to run it into bankruptcy so they can acquire by expropriation Skywalk. Jin suspect’s tribes would give him the fair value of the contract, which he believes is about $ 100 million, or that we would like people to vote. According to the ordinances of the Tribal Council is the sale or purchase of more than $ 50,000 to vote for the people. Jin has filed an injunction in federal court March 30 to prevent the tribal council to take the lease through eminent domain. The Court rejected his request, saying he could do anything until the Council has actually tried to take over the contract. The Federal Court also ordered that the case be decided in tribal court appeals before at the federal level.Grand Canyon Skywalk

Colbert Laughed All The Way To PAC

Colbert Laughed All The Way To PAC: Comedy Central is wrong journalist Stephen Colbert got a very real victory today in Washington. He obtained permission from the Federal Election Commission to form their own PAC Super. You may ne'er have heard of the CAP are large but not a joke. And they'll play an important role in the upcoming elections, as CBS News correspondent reports that the Congress Nancy Cordes. There are some who say they'll do with him, "Colbert joked to a crowd of fans." I say give it to me and i.e. Colbert has been on the campaign almost comical for several months, joking in his program that "this election, you, the Colbert nation can have a voice in the form of my voice, screamed through a megaphone in cash. Super PAC are by-products of the 2010 decision of the Supreme Court commonly called "Citizens United", which gave the companies, unions and individuals to donate unlimited funds to outside groups to campaign for or against candidates. Delhi Belly review

Imran Khan, Delhi Belly, Aamir Khan, Bollywood Gossips, Delhi Belly Moview ReviewCast: Imran Khan, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Vir Das, Poorna Jagannathan, Shenaz Treasurywala, Vijay Raaz
Directed by Abhinay Deo
Rating: ***

Very rarely we come across a film that disgusts and delights in equal measure. A film that has us crinkling our nose, yet sticking a thumb up for approval. Delhi Belly is one such film. And though many of us feel, we're too old for potty humour, we're not. As you would imagine, Delhi's Belly manifests an upset stomach, rumbling constantly, warning you of its ominous contents. This sound can be roughly translated in words, by the song, 'I want to break free' by Queen.
The storyline is fairly uncomplicated for films in this genre. Parallel stories collide at certain parts but it seems natural and not Kukunoor-ish.  The film is about three Delhi bachelors, Tashi (Imran Khan), Arup (Vir Das) and Nitin (Kunaal Roy Kapoor), living in (by far) the filthiest bachelor pad constructed by any set designer ever.
Professionally, Arup is a cartoonist for an ad agency (weren't they called illustrators?), Tashi is a diligent journalist and Nitin is his photographer. Like every self-respecting bachelor, our lead trio has a sheer contempt for any household work and their landlord. Their routine life gets sticky once they get their shit mixed up (literally!) and deliver a wrong package. And just for fun, the wrong package is a stool sample!
Like 'Snatch', diamonds are the object of everyone's desire here too. But unlike 'Snatch', we just have one group of scums hunting for them that is headed by Somayajulu (Vijay Raaz). While they're on the run, they're joined by Menaka (Poorna Jagannathan) who hints on a subliminal relationship with Tashi but he's already going steady with doll-faced Sonia (Shenaz Treasurywala). Thankfully, this doesn't culminate into a love triangle.
A lot of people get seriously injured, a ceiling collapses, a few cars are dented but when you see a man with a live firecracker sticking out of his bum, you can hardly help yourself. Also you have Nitin taking dysentery to a level where the sound produced cannot be replicated by blowing into one's hand.
An aspect this film blatantly ignores is that our lead trio doesn't demonstrate Delhi-speak which is using voluminous and imprecise expressions in an idiotic fashion to say anything. But what it loses out in manner of speech, it makes up in visuals, as you see Delhi in its smuttiest and most deplorable avatar.
Among the cast, Vir is clearly the most talented and entertaining of the three and Imran is the least. Poorna is vivacious and lights up the screen with her personality and Shehnaz is, well, forced into ill-fitting clothes.
'Delhi Belly' is well-paced and the screenplay is cleverly woven to hold your attention and interest through the 96 minutes of its runtime. And although most songs are just used as a background score, 'Jaa Chudail' picturised on Vir's failed relationship is hilariously crazy.
This film may not be appetizing for all, but it surely has an appetite for potty sounds. A farting blockbuster for sure!

Katrina and Sonakshi's turf war

Even as the alleged war between Katrina & Sonakshi heats up, it's interesting to note that both of Salman's protégées seem to follow the same route in terms of their film careers.

Bonding with the past Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone,Ranbir Kapoor
Whoever said that ex-lovers can’t be friends haven’t seen Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone recently. It seems that the ex-couple have finally buried the hatchet and are trying their best to be cordial with each other. The two met at Imran Khan’s film screening and were seen to be greeting each other affectionately.

Ranbir had expressed his desire to watch ‘Delhi Belly’ and Imran invited him to the trial screening. Also present there were Imran and Avantika’s close friends and Deepika Padukone who has become good friends with her ‘Break ke Baad’ co-star. “There was no discomfort between the Ranbir and Deepika and both were very warm towards each other. Ranbir even sat next to Deepika and watched the film,” said a source.

The two started dating each other in 2008 and broke off after two years of courtship. The reasons for the break-up have been speculated to be a certain Ms Kaif and it was rumoured that Ranbir had cheated on Deepika. Infact, in one of the shows of ‘Coffee with Karan’, Deepika left no stone unturned to lash out at her ex-boyfriend and Katrina Kaif. Now things are back to normal as both of them have moved on. While Deepika is dating liquor baron Vijay Mallya’s son, Siddhartha, Ranbir has been linked to lots of women in the recent times.

Kukunoor falls in love

Nagesh Kukunoor,Ayesha Takia,Rannvijay Singh
Few would imagine the director of films like ‘Dor’, ‘Rockford’ and ‘Iqbal’, Nagesh Kukunoor, to be interested in romance as a genre. Not even Nagesh himself. Yet his next film, called 'Mod' and starring Ayesha Takia and Rannvijay Singh happens to be a romantic comedy.

Talking about the film Nagesh, candidly says, “I never wanted to do love stories as I always believed there was nothing really new to say in the space considering we see so many love stories being made every year. But when I saw a Taiwanese film ‘Keeping Watch’ at AFFF (Asian Festival of First Films),   where I was a jury, I was amazed. I wanted to take the same premise and set it in India. So I went ahead and bought the rights. I still maintain that every story has been told but it is the way a story is told that matters.”

Interestingly the director decided to go ahead and shoot this film completely before anyone could find out what he was working on. Once he had a working draft of the script, the director says he decided to shoot the film in Ooty. The director also claims that the audience will get to see the real beauty of Ooty like they have never seen before. “I have always stayed away from attention while making a film. But that had got disrupted during my last few films as I was working with big stars like Akshay Kumar and John Abraham, who created media attention. So I decided to go back to my roots and do this film the way I used to. Now I hope people like this one,” concludes the director. The film has been produced by Shreya Entertainment and is slated to release in September, 2011.

Aishwarya's health most important: UTV

Madhur Bhandarkar,Aishwarya Rai,pregnant
It seems like Madhur Bhandarkar’s ambitious project ‘Heroine’ is not going to see the light of the day anytime soon. After much speculation about Madhur wanting to go ahead with the project despite Ash’s pregnancy, UTV has issued an official statement.

In an official statement, the production house has decided to end the rumours and have said, “UTV would like to put an end to the speculative and factually incorrect stories that are doing the rounds on ‘Heroine’, and to clarify the position on the film once and for all. At this point nothing is more important than Aishwarya's well being and good health. In that context, we have all mutually agreed that the best step would be to avoid shooting further, rather than proceeding with an incredibly demanding schedule over the coming months. Even as we will truly miss this opportunity to work with Aishwarya, the entire unit wishes her the very best for the exciting time ahead, as she and Abhishek move into this special new phase in their lives

The makers have decided to put the film on the hold for a while. Soon after they heard about their leading lady’s pregnancy, director Madhur Bhandarkar and the producers Ronnie Srewvala and Siddharth Roy Kapoor met up and decided on their next course of action. The film that had gone on floors barely a fortnight back, was initially supposed to be completed within 60 days

Asin refuses to don bikini in Housefull 2

Bollywood Gossips, Asin
South Indian beauty Asin Thottumkal – who had appeared in the box office hit ‘Ready’ along with Salman Khan- has been roped in by director Sajid Khan for his upcoming sequel ‘Housefull 2’. After signing the movie, Asin has made it loud and clear to the makers that she will not be wearing a bikini in the movie.

In order to make sure that the makers of the movie do not force or pressurize her, the actress has even added a clause in the contract that has been signed by the producers. While all other actresses have shed their inhibitions and have opted to don a bikini, the ‘Ready’ actress has refused to give in to the pressure.

In the movie ‘Housefull’, actresses  Jiah Khan and Deepika Padukone were seen wearing bikinis for a song. The cast of the sequel to the movie includes Jacqueline Fernandez, Akshay Kumar, John Abraham and Riteish Deshmukh.

Since Asin has refused to wear skimpy bikinis, director Sajid is now hoping that the Jacqueline might agree to wear a bikini for a sexy item number. While Jacqueline sizzles the screen with her bikini look, Asin will be seen in her usual casual clothes look. The shooting of the movie has already begun and its time to wait and watch what the sequel has got to offer.

Katrina Kaif does not land female lead role in Dhoom 3

Bollywood Gossips, Katrina Kaif
In some disappointing news for all Katrina Kaif fans, the actress has not been finalized for the third installment of the ‘Dhoom’ series. As per earlier reports, the actress was finalized as the lead female opposite  Aamir Khan in the  movie, but this report was not true.

An official spokesperson came out and cleared the air and said that the ‘Tees Maar Khan’ actress has not been finalized for ‘Dhoom 3’. Yash Raj  Films was also apparently upset about the  false  reports that were spread in the past few days.

The spokesperson had complained that the correspondents did check up with them to confirm the news before publishing the report. The fact is that the makers of the movie are still in  search  of a fresh face for the movie to be cast opposite Aamir Khan.

Katrina is right now busy preparing for the upcoming movie ‘Ek Tha tiger’ opposite her ex-boyfriend  Salman Khan. The shooting of the movie will begin soon. The spokes person added that so far the female lead has not yet been finalized.

The audience is waiting for the third installment of the thrilling ‘Dhoom’ series, which will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and will be produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films.

Anushka Sharma held at Mumbai Airport by custom officials

Bollywood Gossips, Anushka Sharma
Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is the latest diva to be caught red-handed by the customs authorities at the Mumbai international airport. The customs authorities had found that the actress was carrying undeclared good in her baggage.

The undeclared goods included some expensive diamond jewellery, as well as branded watches. The ‘Rab Ne Banadi Jodi’ actress was returning from the IIFA Awards in Toronto, when the custom authorities held her for questioning.

On questioning the actress, she stated that she had taken the jewellery and watches from India and bringing them back exempts her from paying custom duties. Anushka had even submitted some bills of the jewellery and the watches to defend herself.

The customs are still verifying the actress’ case. Meanwhile, Anushka has been booked under the sections 75, 111L, M and D of the Customs Act for the non declaration of the expensive goods. The actress has been allowed to go home. In case the customs finds that the jewellery has been bought from abroad, then the actress might have to pay duty of 36.05 percent of the value of the jewellery. Moreover, Anushka may also have to pay a huge redemption fee to take back the confiscated jewellery.
The customs officials seem to be cracking the whip on Bolllywood celebs over the past few weeks, as Anushka follows the footsteps of Bipasha Basu, Minissha Lamba in getting caught for undeclared goods.

Isha Sharvani plans to get engaged to Zaheer Khan

Bollywood Gossips, Isha Sharvani , Zaheer Khan
Despite strong denial by te actress Isha Sharvani that she is not getting married in near future, certain reports have risen of the possible engagement of her and Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan. No official confirmation has been received by either of the celebrities and we have assumed that this could just be another fake report.

Recently, the dancer and actress had openly denied the reports that she was living in with Khan in an apartment and that they are planning to get married in near future. Isha had even made it clear that she does not have any plans to get married in near future.

In spite of all the clarifications, close friends of the couple have allegedly said that the two will be getting engaged by the end of this year. Earlier, there were also reports that the two are heading towards a split, which was never confirmed.

Isha and Zaheer had met each other in a function and had since then got along well with each other. The close friends of the couple have also said that though the two might get engaged, the wedding may not be solemnized in the near future. Like it is said, there cannot be smoke without fire, there is definitely something brewing somewhere, which will soon be disclosed.

Minissha Lamba detained at Mumbai airport with undeclared jewellery

Bollywood Gossips, Minissha Lamba
Bollywood actress Minissha Lamba was held at the international airport in Mumbai on Wednesday, barely moments after returning from the 64th Cannes Film Festival. The actress was reportedly carrying undeclared jewellery worth half a crore.

After landing from an Emirates flight, Minissha was detained by the custom authorities, who had claimed that the actress was carrying jewellery worth Rs. 50 Lakhs. The customs officials had detained the actress for several hours, as she was reportedly carrying jewellery worth more than that what is usually permitted without declaration. The actress alleges it was provided to her by a jewellery brand to wear at Cannes.

Minissha was questioned in the afternoon and was even reportedly detained by the authorities. The airline custom officials have said that a case will be registered after recording a statement from the actress.

The ‘Bachna ae Haseeno’ actress was stopped by the officials at the green channel and was questioned by Sameer Wankhede, who is the deputy commissioner. Wankhede had said that they had stopped her as she was carrying jewellery above the permissible limit or must have not declared the jewellery before she flew. Wankhede added that in cases where the jewellery was worth 5 lakhs, a bail would be granted on the grounds of personal jewellery, but the actress had to be detained as it was worth 50 lakhs. Moreover, while the actress was returning to Mumbai, she had lost one of her baggage trolleys at the Nice airport and had even tweeted about the loss.

Ready movie hits the Indian box office with a bang

Dabangg,Ready,Salman Khan,Asin
Despite slammed by the critics, Salman Khan’s Ready is ruling the box office. The box office figures are impressive and with the weekend, the collection is likely to increase even more. The distributors are now aiming at a massive profit.

The opening of the movie at the box office had seen occupancy of nearly 60 to 80 percent at the multiplexes as well as the single screen theatres. Some of the shows of the evening have also reported to be house full.
Director Aneez Bazme has brought a not so original comedy flick for the audience starring Salman and Asin. However, the movie could not reach the opening that was received by the block buster movie ‘Dabangg’ that had released last years.

However, the fate of the movie will be decided in the upcoming days, whether the movie is really a hit or a flop. Moreover, the release of the movie has affected the other releases like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’. The movie had till now done a business of 9 crores over the week, but the collections dropped as soon as the movie ‘Ready’ was released. The release of ‘Ready’ had also affected the business of Vikram Bhatt’s ‘Haunted 3D’, which had also done reasonable business since its release.

Shaitan movie review – A multi-emotion flick

First time producer Anurag Kashyap has come up with a thriller with some elements of quirkiness, wildness and violence. The movie gives a glimpse of the youngsters, who believe living their life to the fullest.

Shaitan, Rajeev Khandelwal, Kalki Koechlin, Shiv Pandit , Kirti Kulhari,Gulshan Devaiya,Neil Bhoopalam
The cast of the movie includes Kalki Koechlin, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shiv Pandit, Gulshan Devaiya, Kirti Kulhari and Neil Bhoopalam. The story of ‘Shaitan‘ revolves around a group of youngsters, who do not care about the rest of the world but are bothered about their own enjoyment.

The twist comes when the youngsters get involved in a tricky situation, which is a result of their own deeds. Director Bejoy Nambiar has made sure to add the right amount of emotions to the story due to which nothing has been overdone and is balanced.

The debutantes Shiv Pandit and Kirti Kulhari are fresh and have managed to convince the audience with their acting abilities. Besides, Kalki and Rajeev too have taken their roles seriously. From the direction to the cinematography to the dialogues, every thing in the movie seems like carved and presented. The concept of the movie may be new for the Indian audience.

So do we recommend Shaitan? The movie is a must watch for those who love edginess and thrill and that means, age no bar here.

Always Kabhi Kabhi movie review

Always Kabhi Kabhi, Zoa Morani, Giselle Monteiro, Ali Fazal, Satyadev Dube
Shahrukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment is always known for bringing some fresh movies for the audience. The production house has come up with a new movie ‘Always Kabhi Kabhi’, which has been directed by Roshan Abbas.

Surprisingly, the movie does not have any of the A-list actors to flaunt, but has a promising and fresh cast. The actors in the movie include Ali Fazal, Satyajeet Dubey, Giselle Monteiro and Zoa Morani.

The movie is supposed to be nothing but a treat for the eyes but scores low on the entertainment element. The story is about teenagers, who are in search of their aptitude. Some may even try to connect the movie with ‘3 Idiots’, as the movie narrates the issue like pressure from parents for admission.

The youngsters then land up in a tricky situation, after which the teenagers come up with a ‘young’ solution. The only thing that the movie lacks is the twists and turns, which makes the movie so predictable. Nowadays, the audience likes to go for movies, which is either entertaining or which has some edgy factor in it and AKK lacks both. The actors in the movie have done an average job with their roles. The movie takes the audience in to a nostalgic tour and will remind of the teens days.

Double Dhamaal movie review

Double Dhamaal, Sanjay Dutt, ritesh deshmukh, arshad warsi, Javed jaffrey, Aashish chaudhary, kangana ranaut, malika sherawat
‘Double Dhamaal’ is the sequel to the 2007 movie ‘Dhamaal’ which has been directed by Indra Kumar, who is known for bringing the best entertainment for the audience. But this time, movie critics  are not so impressed and fee that the director might have forgotten to add in some more spice and hence the reviews are not the best.

The earlier cast of Ashish Chaudhary, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Javed Jaafery and Arshad Warsi have been brought back, who have failed to generate and effective freshness – which a sequel demands. The movie does not boast about anything new.

The only attractions in the movie are the eye candies Mallika Sherawat and Kangana Ranaut, who seem like desperate to gain the attention of the audience.

The story is about the same old friends trying new shortcuts to make big money. The characters are loud and unreasonably irritating. Instead of delivering the dialogues, the actors in the movie seem like they are shouting at each other. The story then very slowly picks up at the later half with some twists and turns, when the it becomes bit enjoyable. One may catch the movie to watch the much talked about ‘Jalebi Bai’ item number by Mallika Sherawat – which is absolutely brilliant and Miss Sherawat must be given credit for putting a lot of effort into the dancing for the track.

Watch Double Dhamaal if you have nothing better to do this weekend.

Speaking about scenes she filmed for movie 'Love and Other Drugs', she added: "I don't get hung up on nudity. To me, it was just an extension of who she was. It was real."

But Anne was able to dress up when co-hosting this year's Academy Awards with '127 Hours' actor James Franco, which she has described as "pure joy".

The 'Horrible Bosses' star insists she doesn't stick to a strict diet to maintain her stunning figure and just limits her intake of fatty meals.

She said: "I've never been a fanatic when it comes to what I eat. I've always discovered that I can stay fit by avoiding junk foods and eating healthily, while running or exercising regularly. I don't have any formula."

The 42-year-old actress' favourite exercise is yoga and she works out every day because she feels more energetic after working out.

She revealed to new! magazine: "I love to do yoga. I have more energy if I can do workout for 20 minutes every day. If I exercise enough I can eat what I want and not worry about my weight or how I look. If I put on a few pounds, I just eat more fish and salads for a week and exercise four or five times a week as opposed to two or three times. The important thing is to stick to a healthy routine. I feel better after a good workout and it gives you more energy for the entire day. I try not to worry or stress about things anymore ¬ I just like to get on with my life."

The fashion designer - who judges on UK TV show 'Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model' - says being on the panel has been a "real eye-opener" and he would be like to have bigger models representing him in the future, despite branding them a "joke" last year.

He told LOOK magazine: "You can be real and still be sexy. Bigger girls can compete against girls half their size. This show has been a real eye-opener.

"There is a gap in the market and if someone good wanted to represent my brand, I'd do it."

Julien admitted he was caught in a "fashion bubble" when he made his previous comments, adding he will support curvy women on the show, which is presented by Australian model Elle Macpherson.

Julien revealed he likes seeing what Elle - who is nicknamed 'The Body' - wears on the show each week, and he particularly enjoys it when she dons one of his creations.

He previously said: "The most exciting thing is seeing Elle's outfits each week. She always looks gorgeous and she's on the most amazing fashion adventure. She wears a little bit of Julien Macdonald, which is always good!"

The actress - who stands at 5ft 10in tall - has not always been comfortable with her height but now embraces it because she feels fine about her statuesque physique.

She said: "I'm obsessed with wearing heels all the time now, these Louboutin heels. They're really comfortable.

"I was this tall when I was, I think, 11? So at 11 I was five feet 10 inches and I had size 10 shoes. This came to me like a light bulb recently, like, 'Why am I so shy when I'm tall?' and 'Why do I feel better in flats and Converse?' "

The 33-year-old star now believes she stopped wearing the glamorous shoes because she had been stuck thinking the same way she did as a child.

She added to Nylon magazine: "It's because I was a giant at 11 years old and I was so much taller than everyone. All the boys! But today I feel happy to be tall."

Despite her love for heels, Liv has previously revealed she likes to kick off her shoes and her clothes after an event and be "comfortable".

She said: "I really enjoy dressing up but the moment I get home I take everything off and put my sweats on or my pyjamas - I like to be comfortable.

"I still have my original pair of Converse trainers from when I was a teenager somewhere in my closet."

The 'Baby' singer's debut perfume Someday is for females and although he is not opposed to working on a scent for guys, he thinks it was "smarter" to work on a feminine fragrance because guys always notice when the opposite sex smells good.

He told ET Canada: "I'm not opposed to [working on a male fragrance] but I'm more into how females smell.

"Guys are the people smelling the perfume on the girls. It's not the other girls . so I think that's the smarter thing."

Justin is so happy with Someday - which he was "100 per cent involved in" - he hopes his fans will wear it when they come to his personal appearances.

He explained: "If I was at a meet-and-greet and smelled this on a certain someone, then I would be like, 'Wow, that smells really good.' "

Justin also revealed Someday was inspired by achieving your dreams which is why the accompanying commercial features actress Dree Hemingway portraying a fan whose ambition is to meet him.

He explained to People magazine: "It explains a dream. Someday I will drive a BMW. Someday I will be an astronaut.

"In the commercial, [co-star Dree's] someday was meeting me. So when she sprayed on the perfume, I appeared in the room and we floated off into this place . that's what I perceive it as."

Aishwarya, 37, plays the lead role in "Heroine".

"At this point, nothing is more important than Aishwarya's well being and good health," producers UTV said.

"Read some stupid article about how i wanna do Madhur Bhandarkar's film HEROINE... I think Madhur is an amazing director and. It'll be amazing to work together again but GUYS this one aint it!!! I wish him and Aishwarya lots of luck with the film," the Bollywood star posted on Twitter.
