Eva Mendes is new face of Thierry Mugler's 'Angel' perfume

London, June 25 : Eva Mendes has become the new face of Thierry Mugler’s ‘Angel’ perfume, taking over from actress Naomi Watts who posed as the face in 2008.

 Mendes, 37, who revealed her new campaign is due out in September in New York, posed in a campaign picture, taken by Inez van Lansweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, in a strapless evening dress while holding the bottle of perfume close to her neckline, the Telegraph reported.

Mugler had launched the star-shaped scent, which was specifically formulated to recreate childhood memories, and is famous for smelling just like chocolate, in 1992.

The scent created by Givauden includes patchouli praline, caramel and vanilla.

Eva Mendes thanks 'hairy beast' dad for giving her good hair

Washington, June 24 : Eva Mendes has thanked her ‘hairy beast’ dad for genetically providing her good hair.

Though initially she never liked most of her features, she never had any complaints against her long brunette hair, which she owes her dad for.

“I have good hair. My dad’s a hairy beast and I have to thank him for that,” Contactmusic quoted the 37-year-old star as telling Access Hollywood Live.

“I have to thank him because I don’t need extensions and stuff,” said the ‘Last Night’ star.

“I used to hate my mouth. And my teeth were just big and my mouth was big. But about 15 years ago, I really started accepting all the things about myself that I didn’t like growing up,” she added.

Washington, June 24 : Actress Eva Mendes seems sure that she will never exchange vows because she considers marriage as an ‘archaic institution’.

The star who has been dating filmmaker George Augusto for almost a decade has admitted that she is in no rush to make the relationship official.

“I don''t a feel a need for marriage. I think it''s really archaic... I''m not very traditional,” Contactmusic quoted the ‘Hitch’ actress as saying.

“I have no traditional ties to the idea of marriage but what I do love is a very strong union, commitment, spiritual commitment and, of course, family and love... but marriage, I just think it''s not for me,” she said.
