Beatification of John Paul II:  In San Antonio, there are programmers this weekend to mark the beatitude of a man whose call left a permanent mark. An approximated 350,000 folks accompanied the Mass he led in Westover Hills on land where Stevens High School after was made. A granite historical marker on the school's fence line memorializes the historical issue. Sister Charlene Wedelich of San Antonio was the only woman on the national projecting committee for his visit to 9 United States Cities. The role of the city improved because of his call, she said, peculiarly making known bonds between folks of another trusts. He insisted on greeting folks directly from all walks and ages, she said, admitting youths aspiring to spiritual life as priest, brothers and nuns. He just perfectly radiated with joy and enthusiasm with those young folks,” she called back. “He interacted with them so personally, and you got to see his personality come out. Father David Garcia called back his sense of humor despite the 90-degree heat at the outdoor Mass that lasted 3 hours. A storm 3 days earlier had knocked over towers set up to go with the altar.
