Local residents helped police force move the trees from the road in both cases.  A tree also fell on wires on Kimball Avenue in Wenham. Lyons ambulance, which handles emergency calls in both towns, usually answers from its Beverly or Danvers base. But during the storm on Sunday it has an ambulance stationed at the Hamilton fire station. A shelter was also regular to open at the old library in Hamilton beginning at 9 a.m. It is a place for folks without power to reload electronic device and anyone who is headed there is asked to bring their own food.
