Double Dhamaal movie review

Double Dhamaal, Sanjay Dutt, ritesh deshmukh, arshad warsi, Javed jaffrey, Aashish chaudhary, kangana ranaut, malika sherawat
‘Double Dhamaal’ is the sequel to the 2007 movie ‘Dhamaal’ which has been directed by Indra Kumar, who is known for bringing the best entertainment for the audience. But this time, movie critics  are not so impressed and fee that the director might have forgotten to add in some more spice and hence the reviews are not the best.

The earlier cast of Ashish Chaudhary, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Javed Jaafery and Arshad Warsi have been brought back, who have failed to generate and effective freshness – which a sequel demands. The movie does not boast about anything new.

The only attractions in the movie are the eye candies Mallika Sherawat and Kangana Ranaut, who seem like desperate to gain the attention of the audience.

The story is about the same old friends trying new shortcuts to make big money. The characters are loud and unreasonably irritating. Instead of delivering the dialogues, the actors in the movie seem like they are shouting at each other. The story then very slowly picks up at the later half with some twists and turns, when the it becomes bit enjoyable. One may catch the movie to watch the much talked about ‘Jalebi Bai’ item number by Mallika Sherawat – which is absolutely brilliant and Miss Sherawat must be given credit for putting a lot of effort into the dancing for the track.

Watch Double Dhamaal if you have nothing better to do this weekend.
