Brock Lesnar vs. Alistair Overeem: The fight announcement is scarcely an hour old, and Bodog already has a line up for the Dec 30 clash between former UFC champion Brock Lesnar and former Strikeforce champion Alistair Overeem. Bodog has Lesnar and Overeem as a pick'em, and you will need to lay -one hundred fifteen on either side to account for the vig. Given concerns about how Lesnar reacts to getting punched in the face, I expect the early action to come in on Overeem. Lesnar is returning from his newest bout with diverticulitis. When he steps into the cage with Overeem, he'll have been out of action for 14 months. Lesnar last fought Cain Velasquez at UFC 121, dropping his heavyweight title later in the 1st round by TKO. Overeem defeated Fabricio Werdum by unanimous decision in the opening round of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix.
